What a no-KYC SIP trunk actually means
No documents, no waiting room. Here is what happens when you create a trunk with TelPrivo, and what "no KYC" does and does not cover.
Most voice providers ask for a passport scan, a company certificate and a utility bill before you can place a single call. We do not. You sign up, create a trunk, and start calling.
Why we can do this
We bill per second from a prepaid wallet. There is no credit line to protect, so there is no reason to collect a folder of documents about you. If your balance runs out, calling stops. That is the whole risk model.
What you get
- A trunk with a username and password. No static IP required, so it works from a laptop, a cloud PBX or an office box behind a dynamic connection.
- Instant activation. The credentials appear in your portal as soon as the trunk is created.
- Per-second billing, with the rate for every destination visible before you dial.
What "no KYC" does not mean
It does not mean anything goes. Traffic that harms other networks - spoofed caller ID used to defraud, robocalling, traffic pumping - gets shut down. Our acceptable use policy is short and we enforce it. Privacy for honest businesses only works if the abusive traffic is kept out.
Getting started
Create an account, add funds, open Connect your phone system in the portal and click add. Point your PBX at the server address shown next to the trunk, dial a test number, and check the call in your activity log a few seconds later.
